This piece is part of an ongoing series exploring brushwork methods. Brushstrokes are applied by hand attempting to replicate the motions of a mechanical process, the resulting imperfections give rise to the captivating patterns seen throughout this collection.

The name of this painting is derived from the finished composition, in this case, the dry blue brushstrokes interact with each other leaving an imprint as each line fades. Reminiscent of strong interference on a strip of magnetic tape.
