This piece is part of an ongoing series exploring brushwork methods. Brushstrokes are applied by hand attempting to replicate the motions of a mechanical process, the resulting imperfections give rise to the captivating patterns seen throughout this collection.

The name of this painting is derived from the finished composition, in this case, an exploration of the range of colour associated with mint, whether it be fresh mint or synthetic gum, using overlaid white and colour stripes.

Printed on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper, one of the most favoured papers for Fine Art printing, this artwork is a Fine Art quality Giclée print. The white cotton material, featuring a wonderfully soft feel and a lightly defined felt structure, imparts each piece with a three-dimensional appearance and remarkable depth.
